Limited parking in the back a long walk through the back yard to the back door the group reunified continued to grow. New meeting started 12/3/1986 Came to Believe 3 weeks a month Wednesday 6:30 to 7:30. We sold 50/50 tickets that were actually 60/40 in favor of the group to raise money for the prudent reserve. Saturday midnights started on 12/20/86. 6:00 pm Friday meetings start on 1/30/1987. A committee was formed to find new location before rent increase after the one-year lease.  Finding a location or renewing the lease was the most concerning issue other annoyances were collection envelopes are stolen out of box discussion of getting a safe with combination begins but another box is built at this time and exhaust fan installed. Rumor has it there are concerns about rumors 4/29/87 too bad this is not the worst problem. New Location was found and moving day was upon the group once again, Back to Evergreen St next door to where we started.

17 Evergreen St. Warminster 7/1/1987 to 6/29/90

This is where Sobriety Group really started to come of age after closing between Dudlik’s and York rd. A new meeting place with two floors. The main meeting on the first floor. Upstairs coffee, 2 bathrooms and intensive care room also on second floor was a balcony view of the meeting below. Although we were here only 3 years there are many stories of this era. We got the notice we had to leave in April of 1990 because the property was to be sold at the end of June.

Across from Denny’s that’s the directions you got when you called to find out where they were meeting after the move. A meeting room in a shopping center with limited parking one bathroom and no intensive care room. You would walk into the door and the chairman’s table was straight ahead a make shift storage area to the right made of office partitions that doubled as bulletin boards and coffee and bathroom in the back of room. No ventilation and as always parking, hanging outside, and smoking were the issues that doomed this location to change in just one year. Another moving committee another location to find.
