Exactly which tradition are people breaking now? Does this effect AA as a whole, or another group? no. Is Sobriety Group lending it's name to an outside entity, or endorsing an organization? no. Is this issue taking away from our primary purpose, or not carrying the message to the next suffering alcoholic? no. Does this take away from our unity to recover from alcohol? no. Are we asking an outside enterprise to support this? no. So, which tradition is being broken. Technically it is not an AA meeting until the preamble is read, an announcement from the floor is not a sobriety group announcement, or an AA announcement. Why is there so much anger over something that could be an example of the love that AA members have for each other.Again I ask, Why so much anger? |

| It is ashame that a nice thing ends in controversey, however it does, look how this whole thing caused the room to split and people to fight. It is sad and I think that is why the traditions were written. We can't let nothing split our unity |

As far as I know there was only one person fighting or angry about this, but it doesn't matter now. When I think about it, that person is angy or irritated a lot. |
